We hope you will be absolutely delighted with the biscuits and treats you purchase from The Little Barker Bakery.  We do our best to ensure we maintain the highest possible standards.  We are obliged to publish our terms and conditions, but we have tried to keep these as simple and user friendly as possible.

Placing an order

Placing an order through our online shop is easy.  Choose the biscuits, treats and gifts you would like to buy and add them to the shopping basket.  You will then follow a series of simple instructions to select your delivery address and payment method.

By placing an order you are offering to buy goods from us.  We will confirm that we have received and accepted your order. Please check carefully the details that you have provided. Make sure you have added our email address to your account to avoid our contact being treated as junk or spam.


Cancelling or Changing your Order

Should you wish to cancel your order contact us as soon as possible, remember we aim to get all orders dispatched within 5 working days.



Treats are baked fresh to order and we aim to dispatch all orders within 5 working days, we will let you know when your order is on its way.

Shipping costs to mainland UK only is included during the ordering process.  Delivery will be made to the address specified on the order by Royal Mail postal services or by courier. Free standard delivery (3-5 days from dispatch)free delivery is given on all orders over £50

We strongly advise that if goods are required for a specific date, you let us know in advance to avoid any disappointment.


Returns Policy

At The Little Barker Bakery we want you and your pet to be delighted with our products.If for any reason, you are unhappy with any of our products and would like an exchange or refund, please email us as soon as possible.  Please include your order number and reason for exchange/return.

Please note that some items are non-cancellable and non-refundable:

  • Anything that’s specially made, or ordered, with your choice of name or message or any other customised aspect that makes it unique to you (and therefore not resalable)
  • Perishable products (like food or flowers)

If you wish to return any products, they must reach us within fourteen days of when we dispatched your order. We recommend you use a postal service with proof of postage. Ensure that returns are packed appropriately (ideally using the packaging we initially supplied) and include a note stating your order number, contact details and reason for returning the item. Please note you will have to bear the direct cost of returning items.

Any returned items must be sealed, unopened and in a re-saleable condition. Please don’t destroy or throw away any product, even if it’s faulty, before you’ve spoken to The Little Barker Bakery as this could affect any refund you may be entitled to.

If the goods are not returned to us within 14 calendar days we will not refund the order

Please note that you are liable for any diminished value of the product resulting from the handling of the product in any way other than what is necessary to establish the nature and characteristics of the product while you are responsible for it (this includes, in the context of a return, when the product is in transit back to The Little Barker Bakery

Refunds will be made within 30 days. This returns policy does not affect your statutory rights.


Damaged Items

The Little Barker Bakery does everything we can to ensure that your order arrives undamaged.  Please inspect your delivery and report any faulty or damaged goods as soon as you can.

If you receive a damaged parcel or a defective product, please let us know within 14 working days of when we dispatched the order with your order number, contact details and a description of the damage to your delivery. Please attach a photograph if possible. Please do not return any products without contacting us first.

Once we have discussed your order we will send a replacement or refund the cost of the original goods including the postal costs. We may ask that the damaged goods to be sent back to us

This is in line with the statutory Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 which came into force on June 13th 2014

All refunds and partial refunds will be completed within 30 days.


You have received the wrong item

If the item you receive does not correspond to the description we will try to put it right just contact us and follow the procedure for returns


Our Biscuit Treats

All our biscuits treats are made in small batches.  Whilst we use exactly the same ingredients in each batch and follow our tried and tested recipes, because we use fresh ingredients and because they are all handmade there may be some variability between batches.

Our treats are all lovingly handmade and whilst we try to keep their size as uniform as possible, there will be some variance.  Each bag is weighed individually and we always add biscuits to exceed the stated weight, rather than dispatch an underweight item.

None of these terms and conditions affects your statutory rights as a consumer.
